What role is right for you?

Large Group Teacher
 teaches children or youth age-appropriate Bible lessons in a large group setting. This could be a one-time lesson, an occasional lesson, or an on-ongoing position. If you love teaching children, let us know how often you would like to be involved.

 builds relationships with a small group of children to help them learn and understand handbook sections and Bible lessons. Actively participates in all club segments. If you desire the full Awana experience, this position is for you. Let’s talk.

 supports the leader by listening to kids recite sections during Handbook Time. If you are passionate about scripture memorization, patient with excited children, and knowledgeable about biblical truths, this might be the job for you. Talk to us, we want to listen and put you to work.

 provides administrative support by maintaining attendance records, achievement records, tracking inventory and placing orders. Are you a detail person? Do records and numbers thrill you? Well this is the role for you.

Awana begins at 6:00 p.m. with a meal. Club begins at 6:30 and ends at 8:05 p.m. Cubbies is for 3-5 year olds. Sparks is for students in kindergarten through second grade. 

Truth & Training is for third through sixth grade. Trek is offered for the seventh and eighth grade students. 

The Evangelical Covenant Church of Wausa is a family of faith, a community of like-minded people. It's a gathering place for the imperfect who seek to live their lives like Jesus Christ. Whoever you are, you're welcome.
